Plume was brought in to be Regalant’s foundation silken. She moved from Colorado to Michigan when she was twelve weeks old and has been lighting up my life ever since. She’s a very special girl—she was my first true show dog, and has since become an amazing agility partner.

Plume earned her UKC championship in March of 2018, at 14 months of age.
She has shown a strong preference for performance sports and so has not been shown since before the pandemic. She was altered in 2022 and has focused solely on agility, her favorite sport, since then.

Plume is a dynamite agility dog! Plume is the first silken windhound to earn a C-ATE through CPE agility. She has also been awarded her Excellent FAST, Open Standard, and Novice Jumpers with Weaves in only a few weekends of trialing through AKC. At nine years old, she is now trialing preferred in AKC, so the more recent titles are Preferred titles.

Plume loves to chase the bunny! She was awarded high scoring singles at her first ASFA event. She has certed to run with other dogs, but we are currently working on her singles title. Once she completes that we will likely move to regular stakes. However, she does need to stop trying to out-think the plastic bag bunny.
Plume has successfully certed for LGRA and run in enough meets to earn her JSR, though she doesn’t often have the confidence to pass other dogs. Still, she has a blast!

In November of 2021, Plume had her one and only litter. She never went into labor and so needed an emergency c-section, but she was a fantastic mother—maybe too much so at times! She allowed her puppies to nurse up until the day they went to their new homes despite the fact that they had long been eating solid food. Meet the Oodles of Noodles!
